Teaching Exceptional Children

In every issue, JournaLearning International publishes a quiz offering C.E. credits for reading feature articles in Teaching Exceptional Children. Generated by the Council for Exceptional Children, this bimonthly magazine discusses innovations, resources and professional debates in the field of Special Education.

It's quick and simple - just read selected articles in any issue of Teaching Exceptional Children and complete the specially-designed quiz located at the front of every magazine. Send the finished quiz to us, along with $25, and you're done! If you answer nine questions correctly, we'll send your letter of completion for two credits.

If you enjoy reading Teaching Exceptional Children, the additional time to achieve your Continuing Ed credits can be as little as ten minutes every other month.

This affordable Continuing Ed opportunity is available in every issue. Do it now!

JournaLearning International is approved by the Council for Exceptional Children to offer Continuing Education to certified educators. JournaLearning International maintains sole responsibility for the home-study program.

Please allow 3-6 weeks for notification of your results and, if you pass, your letter of completion. You may want to keep a copy of the quiz as a record for your certifying agency. This home-study program has been approved by CEC for 2 hours of continuing education credit for educators, subject to continued approval by CEC. Although we collaborate with Teaching Exceptional Children, JournaLearning International is a separate entity and retains sole responsibility for this home-study program.

Program learning objective is to keep abreast of current findings and practices in the education of exceptional children, and to enable teachers to incorporate recent gains in understanding through research and practice into their own curricula and methods.
